5/20/2014 5 Comments 4 days laterAhhhhh, motherhood :) Loving it already! Here's a quick update on Matthew:
He started off on a CPAP machine, trying to open up his alveoli in his lungs. He graduated from that to a oxygen meter that humidified the air. Once he got to 2 liters of O2, he graduated to a lower dose of humidified air. He did so good on that today that now he is completely off all machines and being monitored for the next 24 hours! As long as his stats stay normal and his bilirubin test comes back normal, we'll take him home tomorrow!!! I promise to post more pics once we leave the hospital--I know you all want to see my gorgeous child :) Love to all! ~Daisha

Praying hard! This house is set up for Matthew's homecoming and seems incomplete without him. Also those awesome parents won't come home without him!

So happy to hear that Mathew's breathing is doing so well. He looks so cute and such a strong boy! Hope you are feeling better, Daisha. Aron looks so comfortable holding Matthew. So happy for all of you!

Awe...so proud of you Matthew...keep up the good work! It will only be a matter of time before we see you going on mountain trips and running relays with Dad and Mom....love you bunches little one...Love ya, Aunty Jaye!

You just had your first lesson in parenthood. Children are full of surprises. I'm sure by now he is already spoiled. So happy for all. Congrats!
